I had purchased this last year (2016) and have had to wait to use it until a couple of weeks ago. The builder of the house used the same indoor tile outside coming to the front door. I have always wondered why as it was super slippery when wet to say the least, and doing splits at my age isn't a comforting feeling. Well i will say It works WAY better than i anticipated.
I did find that I really did not need a second sprayer to spray the tile with water. I just soaked the tile with the hose, sprayed this on in sections as suggested by the directions, rubbed it with my sneaker to make sure it was where I wanted it, and used the hose to wash it off. (this is what I did, not exactly what the mfg suggested on the videos and directions). For me it worked amazing as the tile is NOT slippery when wet, and you can Not feel anything under your bare feet other than me knowing I will not slip and fall again or do some insane splits that paralyze me like a crab for a few minutes. AMAZING product and I highly recommend it.

Our pool porch used to be so slippery it would stress me out every time we had friends over to swim. I saw the reviews on this product and decided to try it. I read as many reviews and instructions as I found and decided To put 2 extra coats and let the product sit on our tiles longer. It worked great!!!!!! And it did not change the color of our tiles, just took out some of the luster (which we're ok with)!
We can now walk out of the pool and not feel like we're going to break our heads by slipping!!!
I don't know if it'll last, we did it about 6months ago. But even if we had to redo it every few years, it'd be worth it!!!

Most amazing product! We have had a slippery tiled patio for over 10 years. We would lay out rugs, towels, etc. and tell everyone to be careful walking (we have a pool). It was to the point we were going to remove the tile and redo the patio. It had gotten too dangerous. While trying to find an alternative (from messiness and expense) I came across this product. I decided to buy it and give one more try to saving the patio. My husband removed the things from our patio, put this on, waited the 15-30 min (I forget) and sprayed it off. IMMEDIATELY EFFECTIVE!!! It was unbelievable. The grip that the tile had wet, dry, with shoes, without shoes - was amazing. Being the perfectionist he is, my husband asked that I buy another gallon to do the patio a second time. So I did. And he did it again. (I think 1 time was fine actually). That was last summer. It is now a year and the tile is as non-slippery now as it was last summer. I think this is probably the best thing I've ever ordered from Amazon. $150 (for 2 gallons) saved my patio - and made my outdoor area safe again. I highly recommend for slippery glazed tile.

Used on my shiny ceramic and slippery floor. I probably overdid it. I did the 15 minutes on a sample tile and then moved onto the bathroom floor. When it was wet I pushed a shoe across. It went 8 ft before stopping. i let it dry and walked on it. Seemed like there was better traction but I was nervous with it wet. So I repeated several times waiting 30 minutes and resting like another poster did. When I began to mop I noticed it got harder. I slid my shoe across and it did the same thing, traveling 8 ft. At this time the gloss on the tile is gone and the tile looks dull.

So why am I rating it high? It is super grippy when dry. I think the letting go of the shoe without any pressure is not an accurate test.

My advice is that you do the 15 minutes and then shower and then see how it feels. Then go from there. Also I would recommend using a paintbrush if you have a small area. Otherwise it just seems like you are wasting product.
