This product is great I absolutely love it and the programming is perfect for the people im dealing with

Bought this for an outdoor laundry room for safety reasons because we never had a key to the previous lock. My husband did have to do some modifications to get everything to line up perfectly so it became a 2-4 hour project but definitely worth it. Works very well for what we need and he said it was simple to install. The quality is pretty nice also. Would recommend.

This was purchased as an added layer of security for my home and is used on my bedroom door. It is relatively easy to install but there are a few things to look out for. Getting the wire connected to the battery pack was difficult and it didn't clip in the way I would expect it to. After playing around with it, it seemed like laying it flush against the box and pressing hard was my best option. It still didn't fully clip in. It did work though! It took about 30 minutes for me to install this. The screws that they give you for the strike plate are pretty short as well, so they won't secure it against too much force.

Pros: The knob is sturdy and feels heavy duty in your hand. It feels very nice when you install it. I've had zero issues with it operating properly yet but will update this if I do.

It's a nice value for the money and adds a nice layer of security for the price point.

Cons: Connecting the battery pack to the doorknob was pretty tricky and the instructions didn't explain how they clip together. The picture was not detailed enough to figure it out either. I was afraid that I was going to break it trying to figure out how it went together and jamming it every which way.

The screws that go into your door frame are pretty short. This is an easy enough fix but longer screws would provide more security.

The instructions for the code entry are easy enough to follow along. The option to change the master codes would be nice though.

Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would suggest this as a nice knob for an interior room of your home. It doesn't seem like it would be a great choice for an exterior door, but a lot of people seem to use it for that purpose.

I am pretty happy with the lock, and how easy it was to install and operate.

It took a matter of minutes to install and program the user codes, and the lock functioned very smooth. It's easy to see the numbers considering that they are all in within a confined space (the knob).

My husband and I bought this for our detached garage door because we didn't want to mess with a key. There was already an existing hole, so I can't speak to how effective the template was to help someone create a new hole in a door, but they did have instructions and a template for doing that included. I accidentally ordered two knobs which was a blessing in disguise because the first one gave us problems. Installation was incredibly easy, but one of two screws used to connect the two knobs wouldn't go more than halfway in before it stopped and then started stripping. The second knob worked great and we were able to get it installed no problems. We didn't quite understand from the directions that you're supposed to pull out the black battery pack from the inside door handle, exposing a compartment for two additional AAA batteries (total of 4), so we thought it was a dud before stumbling upon that. It's really easy to set and reset your own access codes. We only need one for our house, but the instructions said it can hold up to 15 different codes. However, the numbers are really hard to see unless you're looking somewhat eye-level with the knob. The numbers are printed on the inside of the button which is awesome because it helps protect the number from wearing off after constant use, but it does make it really hard to see. I'm probably going to have to set more of a sequence like 4 numbers in a row for my 6'7" husband. But all-in-all, it's a solid product once it's installed. I feel like my belongings will be kept safe.
