Inaccurate instructions

Just installed it. Instructions say that spigot can go in either spot, but the indentation at the bottom keeps it from fitting there.

Great product. We have two .
grommets that hold the hardware give way, draining whole barrel quickly.

i picked up one of these, and have had some use from it. but there are significant problems withe the grommets to attach the faucet. it pulls out very easily, and is hard to thread in the first place. the silicone rubber grommet is just too soft and doesn't really hold the threads well.
so often the seal/grommet stays in place, but the spigot just pulls right out of it. t hen you have 45 gallons of water rushing out with quite a bit of force and speed. i'm looking for a hard plastic collar i can put in there, but haven't had luck yet.
once they fix that design (flaw), it would be a good product!

I read the review and took extra time and precautions with plumbers tape on all the valves. So far I have loved the rain barrels as they were easy to set up and came with all the parts necessary. We originally purchased one and were so happy we bought two more and linked them. Last night we had thunder storms with heavy rain, and we are excited as all three are full!
