A good spindle for those interested in learning how to spin their own yarn.

This is a top (or high) whorl spindle and it's sturdy. It was a good spindle to get me introduced to the art of spinning yarn. I found the price to be reasonable as well. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that after being introduced to a bottom whorl spindle, I found that I liked that one better. It's a wonderful spindle.
