This product is amazing and everyone I have shown it to has been very impressed. I bought two of them because our toddler loves to turn on the outside faucets and I was afraid I wouldn't notice and waste a lot of water (a bad idea in the dry Southwest). With the key inserted, you screw this onto your faucet and via some sort of magnetic feature, the lock keeps water from exiting the faucet. You can turn the spigot, but no water comes out (effective! It frustrates my toddler though). We ran into a small problem with one of them (I did something that caused a magent to misalign) and when I wrote to the company to ask for help, the owner called me within a few hours, asked about the situation, and sent a tool that allowed me to fix the problem. Such great customer service! And a great product. If I had more outside faucets, I'd order one for each of them. I might just order some for my friends with kids!

Unfortunately, had to buy this to thwart homeless folks in the area refilling their 5gal water jugs daily at our expense and sad part is they are now just taking from our neighbors who haven't installed a hose bib lock yet. While I feel for their plight and need for clean water, the last straw was leaving our faucet dripping a few times.
Needless to say, this has solved the problem at hand and so far no issues with it not unlocking when needed.

Broken Within Weeks

After only 3 or 4 uses, one of the locks stopped working, at which point we contacted the seller. We were sent a "removal tool." We used the tool according to the instructions in the video they emailed. However, the tool never clamped down tightly enough to remove the Faucet Lock. In addition, in the process of tightening, the head of the included screw broke off. We now have both the Faucet Lock and the removal tool stuck on our outside faucet. Several weeks later, the second faucet lock we purchased for our front yard also stopped working. You insert the key, and the lock spins and spins and cannot be removed. We are now unable to use either of our faucets and will likely have to pay to have these removed. Highly disappointed.

It is nice knowing that no one can acquire water from our exterior faucets. We live in a new neighborhood that is still under construction. The construction workers use the faucets to access water while building on the other homes. Yeah, they can't access our water! And water is not cheap!

Pros: They work!
Well worth the price if water is being misplaced when not around.
Lock works well.
Stop all water from coming out of faucet.
They also do not look bad (rather slim)
Cons: Took a bit to sort out how to get them to lock but once that was figured out was easy.
Final thoughts: I would recommend these for anyone that has Issues with unknown water usage when they are not around. I bought these for my uncles vacation home where when they where out of town the water usage was higher then when they where there. (outside faucet has the water main switch)
