This product ultimately works better than anything else and is unique due to the 400f temp rating, being water based, the curing time (it's generous but not overly so, plus the color change from non cure to cure state is useful as is amusing as is dependable and reliable and consistent.

My only complaint is the manufacturers method/choice/design as far as product packaging, and usage is concerned. I really wish there was an integrated and streamlined system or container design that could somehow properly keep the product air tight to ensure advertised shelf life and expected shelf life after opening the product, and could be able to either dispense or sub-systematically have a detachable set of product that is universally optimal in product amount that would cover the most common doable work size area section that an average center of the bell curve type of customer could achieve. It just sucks when every time opening the big lid, not only do I lose some product many of the times but also lowkey some of my product is either less manageable, less usable, or downright not usable and needs the be thrown away.

In the great scheme of things this is a really minor issue. A better solution for me would be to get a higher rate of cash rolling in so it doesn't phase me in any way that I'm paying $100 for a tub of really cool grey paint. (I know it's more than paint, however, for every one of me who knows this fact, there are a million people and no less than a million per, that literally have not a clue what it is or what it does except that it's grey paint and cool story bro. By the way for what it's worth I used a $3 medium sized paint brush, bought at the a local hardware depot sporting the conservative orange man type color logo and store sign. Easy to apply with sprayer or roller. One gallon covered the floor of my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Prep work was minimal.

This product is perfect for deadening thin sheetmetal inside the car especially over the wheel wells in the trunk, dampened the sound alot for every bump in the road and the bass sounds a little cleaner too, being waterbased is great but if u get it on a fabric it will turn blue, i gave it a 4 star review because i bought this same kit but with the spray gun off there website but the gun didnt last even a couple hours until it decided to shoot thru the pressure relief hole from the trigger piece to my headliner but luckily i managed to extract that (blue stain) with a stain extractor
Applies way thicker and easier by brush anyways just doesnt look as good as spray on
Also this product will not remove all exterior sounds and etc without supporting soundmats

I've used many sound insulating products. The one thing that always annoyed me was the fumes! This has zero to tolerable fumes. Which surprised me. The application is easy and effective. I applied 2 coats in the inner and outer inner parts of my door. Need to buy more for for the fender wheels. I should've bought this product a long time ago.
