We ordered this due to renting our condo and my husband traveling for work overseas. We literally baked everything from suitcases, to pillows, to soft knick knacks, to sherpa rugs. It worked fantastic. Other reviewers reported it didn't heat up quickly, but we found the opposite to be true. Living over the winter in a warm climate, we put this out on our gallery and went to town using it. Didn't have any issues with it. Felt great to get the entire condo done. By the way, no damage to anything we put inside it. Everything came out good as new.
Amazing results.

The ZappBug Heater has been great! I help homeless clients, and some of them are battling bed bug infestations. It has been a constant challenge, but this device has helped so much. Using heat treatment, it kills bed bugs without using nasty chemicals. We have already noticed a significant decrease in bed bugs, bringing relief to us and our clients. The ZappBug Heater is an investment but worth it. Especially considering the long-term cost savings on extermination services. I highly recommend it.
Not bad, not great

You have to pay close attention to how you pack the enclosure. If you have stuff too close to the heat source, the heater will overheat almost immediately. If you pack it well, it'll get up to 120-130 without issue, and stay there very easily. We set it up so the heater is on top of an AC vent, and that helps keep the enclosure super hot while preventing the heater from overheating. That said, the beep that it makes when it overheats is super helpful, and it's really easy to use - just switch it on, press the timer button; and walk away.
We had bed bugs in two bedrooms, so we are cycling two bedrooms worth of stuff (in trash bags) through this thing, running it for probably 8-10 hours a day, and it seems to be going strong. 100% we will be using this after every trip we take from now on, because if you've never had bed bugs, consider yourself INCREDIBLY lucky. We're pretty sure my wife and I brought them back from our last trip into DC, and I gotta say, it's been the worst 2 months of my life. Hopefully this thing will prevent this from ever happening again.

MY AMAZON REVIEW OF ZAPPBUG
Because my granddaughter was to return from South America, and knew she had Bed Bugs, I researched how to avoid bringing them into my home. I purchased and used the ZappBug Heater, but that was my SECOND STEP in the process.
FIRST AT THE LAUNDROMAT:
She took an Uber (didn't want her or her stuff in my car) from the airport to a laundromat that I had determined heated their dryers well above the 120ÌŠ required to kill bed bugs and I met her there. Everything that could tolerate high heat went into the dryer including her backpack, shoes, money belt - everything but the electronics. She changed into the clean clothes and shoes I brought, and those items also went into the dryer which I ran for 1 hour on HOT. The electronics all went into a hard plastic container with a top that sealed tight. Then we DOUBLE BAGGED the an appropriate amount of items from the dryer into multiple bags so that when each bag was opened at home, everything in it could fit into the ZAPPBUG HEATER at one time.
SECOND AT HOME USING THE ZAPPBUG HEATER:
All the bags/containers went onto the balcony. Alternately, into a bathtub - not near anyplace they would be likely to hide. Each bag, one at a time was turned upside down to open directly into the heater which was already set up and connected following the instructions. The manufacturer has a customer service representative who was really helpful. I ran multiple loads through the heater according to their directions, immediately putting the bags that had held the clothing into a clean bag while holding them INSIDE the heater so nothing could escape. I immediately disposed of the used bags OUT OF THE HOUSE each time I emptied a bag. When the items came out of the heater, I spread the items out in a contained area according to the handler who was bringing the dog.
THIRD - HIRED THE DOG THAT CAN SMELL BEDBUGS:
I was able to arrange for the handler to bring the dog early the next morning having followed his directions about turning the AC and fan OFF prior to his arrival so that the odor of the bugs would be able to be smelled by the dog. I had the electronics, in the container with the lid off, in a separate room (the bathtub) so that if bugs were found I would know if they were in the items that could undergo heat again, or in the electronics that cannot be heated.
If they had been found in the electronics I had a plan that I was very glad I didn't have to use because it involved a very highly toxic material (Nuvan ProStrips - Package of 12 Strips with 12 Cages - 16 Gram). The technican that works for the company that manufactures Nuvan spoke to me on the phone with precise directions and real cautions about handing the highly toxic product.) The dog handler advised me NOT TO KEEP THE NUVAN if I didn't need to use it.

Alright, I've got to share my latest discovery, the ZappBug Heater Bed Bug Killer. Trust me, this thing is a game-changer. Recently having the unfortunate joys of dealing with bed bugs, I needed a solution that was a reasonable price, effective, and easy to use. The ZappBug Heater checked all those boxes, and being in a hurry, I said let's give it a shot.
First off, this heater is a breeze to use. You just throw your infested items inside, zip it up, and let the heat work its magic. I was amazed at how quickly it worked. I was expecting this huge and heavy thing, so I was surprised when I opened the box to find out how lightweight and compact it was. I was also worried about where I would put it after I was done, but it surprisingly folds for easy storage and fits in my closet.
I reached out to their customer support for guidance on setting it up, and they were super helpful. I don't typically write reviews, but this one deserved one.
