My family loves this, but it's a treat you cannot easily find, so we get it from Amazon. Personally, I am not a fan of this candy. It's just not my preference. It's very sweet. I'm reviewing it at 5 stars because my family loves it. When it arrives it is beautifully wrapped, and by all apearances this candy is very fresh.

This is one of my most favorite 'candy bars'. I really like the La Florentine Torrone bars.
They are not gooey and sticky like caramel. They are not overly sweet like some chocolates might be. Additionally, they are large enough that you can eat part of one and then save some for later. These are soft and yummy.

This was amazing. You would get a chock full of pistachios and the nougat was soft, almost fresh-tasting. However, when I received this recently, it was no longer just pistachios, but almond AND pistachio -- and far more almonds than pistachios. This is misleading. They have changed the ingredients, even though the packaging looks almost identical (it now says almond and pistachio), and the price is the same. I am very disappointed and I wish I would have bought more when it was still all-pistachio. Don't get me wrong, this is still delicious, but I miss the all-pistachio torrone bar that I used to gift to fellow pistachio lovers. Now I'll have to shop around and look for a different one, and I wish Amazon would have updated the information because I would have thought twice before ordering it recently.

I have been buying this nougat for number of years and it is the best soft torrone out there. I probably buy 6 bars a month. Unfortunately they seem to have changed the recipe recently. It used to taste more of vanilla and now it tastes more of lemon. This lemon taste means it's now very similar to the competitors which I don't think are as good. Its also softer than it used to be. I wish the recipe would be changed back. It used to be perfect. Why mess with a winning formula...

My favorite candy bar I purchased this bar in New York for the holidays I went back the next year and couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to search on Amazon and found it! I usually like to refrigerate this bad boy it gives it a harder texture that slowly melt in your mouth.
