Sizing Not quite Right

I have a pair of LP "Matador" drums a "tres dos" (conga) and a "salidor" (tumba). The heads (playing surfaces) are 11 and 12 inches respectively and what I assumed were the measurements the "Padded Conga Gig bag" was using in sizing their bags. Unfortunately their 12 inch bag does not fit the 12 inch Tumba drum, however, is a workable tight fit on the 11 inch Conga drum.
The quality and workmanship of the drum bag is very good and will hold up and last for "occasional" use. The drawbacks are: padding is minimal and will not protect the drum from airline baggage handlers abuse. There is also an overwhelming textile odor emitted by the bag fabric. If these negatives are acceptable, it's a good bang for your bucks!!

This is a thin bag, that is perfect for storage, but not quite enough for any kind of travel. For the money, definitely worth it, as long as you're not expecting to keep them scratch free in a travel situation.
