I like this sauce a lot.

This is my most used sauce. I also use Pastorelli's sauce and like it, too. It depends on what toppings I'm using. If the toppings are the star, and I'm using a lot of them, then I go with Don Pepino's sauce because it's not as spicy. If there's only one topping, like pepperoni, then I use Pastorelli sauce because I need more spice to make the pizza more flavorful. The reason I use Don Pepino's more is because most of the pizzas I make have a TON of toppings, sometimes multiple layers of them, and I don't want the sauce stealing the show.

Don Pepino's has a great tomato taste. I've made my own pizza sauce from vine-ripened tomatoes that I grew in my garden, and Don Pepino's comes close to being the same taste. Yes, there are a few seeds, but have you ever made a sauce from scratch and not gotten a few seeds in it? I think I could lie about this sauce being homemade and people would believe me! It's that good.
Make sure you get the 12 for $17 not the 4 for $15

Great product but be careful which can you click because I had previously ordered 12 for $17 and I saw it for $15 and stupidly assumed the price went down but it was for only 4 cans. Then when I realized I paid as much for 4 as 12 cost, returns weren't permitted on this item. So basically I was hornswaggled.

Wow, this has got to be hands down the least flavored pizza sauce I have ever had. If you gave it to me on a spoon and asked me to taste it, I would have to say I would think it is some home made spaghetti sauce that someone forgot to add spices to. The tomatoes that went into it seem to be of good quality and I am only being so critical because it is marketed as a "pizza sauce". Maybe it is about locality, I am located near Chicago and what I and the rest of my family are used to, is sauce with much much more depth. Won't be buying this again, and I will be using oregano, basil, garlic, onion, fennel, and marjoram to doctor the remaining cans we have to make it more appealing as a pizza sauce. Again the tomatoes in this seem to be of good quality, and like some of the other reviews stated, seemed to be seeds, but not too many.. and I believe it will make a decent base. Just not worth the cost/effort for Pizza, only one less step than making it from blended tomatoes and olive oil.
Lite and Fruity

This is lighter and 'fruiter' than what you'll get from retail pizza places like Domino's or Papa Johns. It is still very good and even though I was trying to find something similar to Domino's sauce, I've stuck with this one after trying it. I'd recommend at least trying it if you're looking around because even if it isn't to your taste, it may still pair better with some pizza combinations.
Five stars

I really like the taste of this pizza sauce. I have bought it twice. It is flavorful like the tomatoes were vine ripened. It is mildly sweet, which is perfect for the palate of children for whom I make my weekly pizza. I like the flavor as well (and I like heavily seasoned, spicy food) because of the vine ripened taste, which creates a robust flavor that does not need to be compensated for with extra spice. I just pour this pizza sauce out of the can onto pizza dough, at what a call a medium spread where you can't see the dough underneath but isn't gloppy, which creates a wet end result, spread it evenly, add the Mpzzarella, meat, and Parmesan cheese (in that order) and bake the pizza at 500 degrees (heated to temp then heated for an additional 30 minutes) on my pizza steel. It turns out great every time. It is such a time saver to not have to make homemade pizza sauce. I rarely find premade food products that I like. As a result, I cook almost all dishes from scratch, but this pizza sauce is better than any pizza sauce I have made from scratch.
