I am so bummed at how horrible this was. I was excited that all the reviews made it sound so wonderful. Honestly, it has a sweet but bitter taste to it. You definitely need to doctor it up. It is very bland and chunky. Wish I could return it. Kind of a waste of money.

Very seedy and very bland. It's pretty much a can of crushed tomatoes with barely any seasoning. I added my own oregano and garlic to give it a little more flavor. I would not buy it again.

Don Pepinos pizza sauce is AWESOME. We prefer it to any pizza we can get around home, and that's dozens of places. We're only a household of 2 and live it so much we bought the 12 cans. Better than driving 2 hours to the nearest plave to get it, which has happened before. Haha.
Only trouble we had was that of the 12 cans, 4 were badly dented, and 2 completely unusable/unsafe. It wasnt shipping, as it was packaged and protected beautifully. We hope this isn't common practice, because we'll be ordering more. But maybe from a different vendor next time?

I've been making pizzas from scratch once a week for as long as I can remember. I decided to try this sauce because of the great reviews and because it was on Subscribe and Save. It's a nice sauce...a bit chunkier than what I expected, and with less seasonings than I was hoping for. The overall consensus in the household is that Contadina Pizza Squeeze tastes better. It also has less chunky bits (the kids prefer a smooth sauce). My husband thought this sauce was "sweeter". We all agreed that Contadina was the winner.

This is very good pizza sauce. Easy peasy to use. Big bonus in my book since I always made my own from scratch and that took forever. This is what I've been looking for since I also make the dough for homemade pizza I truly needed a shortcut because it was just simply taking too long and my family loves homemade pizza. I definitely recommend buying this sauce it tastes very good and takes a lot less time than making it from scratch!
