For years I used Lucks brand of canned apples to use in my family's favorite breakfast casserole, but during the pandemic, my local stores stopped carrying Lucks apples. I purchased this Lucky Leaf brand instead and have been pleased with the taste and texture of the apples.

This was non GMO before but now seems to be GMO as it does not say it is not anymore.
All this deception and shrinkflation and increasing prices are very concerning...
And its all by design imo...

For decades, my mom would make something called Apple Betty. It's roughly a no crust french apple pie. All of the stores in the area stopped carrying canned apple slices eons ago. They only carry apple pie filling and apple sauce, neither of which work (trust me, I've tried everything). Fresh apples in Apple Betty is disgusting, by the way. So I've gone without Apple Betty literally for years, until my daughter suggested that I try to find what I need on Amazon.

It took me some searching, but I found it! This is the stuff! I bought a three pack a few weeks ago, and it's time to order another set. I couldn't be happier!

I always use this brand for apple pies like Mama made, and that my family loves.
