Missing parts, not made well.

Missing the bearing. The box was not damaged and was taped on all sides so it did not fall out. Secondly the flat plate is not flat at all. It would have to be straightened befor welding or hope you can get it straight with tightenight the bolts.

THESE ARE NOT 3/4"!!!!!. They are closer to 5/8". So beware. For a new installation you will be OK since the mount the hinge fits into is the same diameter. But in my case, I already had the 3/4" mount welded in place so I needed a pin that is truly 3/4"..

OK, so the good things. This is a pretty heavy duty hinge and has worked great for over a year. I really like that it has a grease port, so I can keep it working in great order.
Now the issues, have to do with packaging and what is delivered by Amazon. Each item should have 5 parts. The hinge, the j-bolt, 2 nuts, and a bearing. I have never received the bearing, but others mentioned they have. I bought some inexpensive, and high-quality ones on Amazon, so no big issue for me. I did buy a third one recently and only received the J-bolt. These things are packed in a lightweight plastic bag, and almost always have holes in them, basically, Amazon grabs the bag and puts it in the box....needs better packaging to keep all the part together.
Note: the 3/4" J-bolt, is a 3/4 10 threads per inch. I attempted to cut threads further back, but it turns out that the bolt waists down after the threads, so there is no material to cut threads into. Meaning, the thread portion is 3/4inch, but the rest of the bolt is slightly less.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing after reading some of the negative reviews.
I installed two of these to support a 12' (200 lb) gate and they work very well. I can open the gate with a light finger push and the ability to grease it occasionally is super.
BTW It came with mounting bolts that were mentioned in the listing but not shown in the photos. I didn't notice that and was expecting to have to buy them locally.

Ok quality but definitely NOT 3/4" closer to 16-17mm. These would be ok if you were starting a new project. I am needing a replacement for a TRUE 3/4" j-bolt hinge
