It's a really nice looking unit, and wasn't too difficult to install. The reason for the four star review is strictly based on how loud it is. We put this in a rental unit and it really makes the kitchen look nice, but if this was my own home I would probably go for a quieter unit. Nonetheless, it does a great job at moving the air, and it looks great, so I do recommend this product. If you don't mind I noisier unit, go for it. If you really want quiet unit, you should probably look elsewhere.

Great for the price! Really added a wow feature to my kitchen and it's WHITE which is exactly what I wanted! I'm still waiting for my electrician to install a plug for me so I cannot comment on how it works but it looks great!

I really like the look of this product, however the parts included along with the instructions are terrible! If one is a DIYer it may be a challenge. The parts for assembly do not coincide with parts, (screws and washers) provided. The instructions direct one to go to pages, (to refer to diagrams) that do not coincide with item it is describing. The design of the install is not accurate. Some of the screws provided do not fit the holes in which they are to go into. As a home "flipper" I install my share of vent hoods. This is by far one of the worst instruction manuals I have come across. If a person is not familiar with vents and their installation, then this will be difficult for a remodel. For a new build it would be okay, however the screws provided for the ducting encasement do not fit properly.
Again, I like the look of the product, it works well, once it is up. However, you will have to figure out how it needs to be assembled and installed on your own. Additionally, pay close attention to the electrical outlet placement, as the plug will not have much "wiggle" room.

This is THE WORST product I have ever bought on Amazon. The unit is extremely loud. AND now - today - it has started turning on by itself. We have had this hood vent installed for 2 months. NOW it turns on for no reason. We have not used it in one week and while sitting in my office - on the other side of the house - it turned on. The buttons will not turn if off either. The + button turned the speed DOWN... This happened 3 times in a row. My husband had to disconnect it to turn it off.
