Love this photo album

Love this photo album. I'm putting together pictures of several generations of my family, and this album fits the bill perfectly. I also like there is room on the sides of each page to label each picture without having to write directly on the picture. Highly recommended!!
The gift is in how you fill it, not the product itself.

To give as a gift this should be filled CAREFULLY and with lots of love. That will make it priceless. **I sincerely doubt these are acid-free, and would not recommend this for any archiving of very important/original pictures. Make sure this is only used for prints that are fine to have damage from fading and sticking in the future.**
I am very impressed that few of the pockets had ripped, because they are flimsy as possible. It is nice that there is space to write personal notes beside each pocket.
The cover is beautiful. I love it, in that regard.

Don't waste your Money - poor diesign and low quality

Although pretty, the design and quality is lacking. The plastic covering the ends of the pages (where you are to put the photos) tears and crumples easily. It is extremely difficult to get the photos in the album without mucking up the plastic or ended up with tears. The top of each page have a large gap opening so photos are sticking out through the top instead of staying in place. Don't waste your money.

I purchased three of these and am satisfied with the purchase. My mother-in-law passed away two weeks ago and of course family gathered for her funeral: 8 children,17 grandchildren, 14 greatgrands. I purchased an album for my husband, the oldest brother and one of his sisters. This was a great opportunity for memorializing family photos for present and future generations. I didn't have any problem with pages or photo pockets tearing, as I was careful inserting our photos.
When I opened the photo books, the pages were a little stiff and crackly so I took my time and flattened the pages down.
Some people have said the album is cheaply made - it isn't high quality but it gets the job done.It's well worth the price that I paid for them.

I loved this album. My daughter got married in November and I bought several different albums and filled them with wedding pictures to give as Christmas gifts to relatives of ours and the groom's. This one was one of my favorites. It is very attractive and sturdy and made a great gift for the grandmothers, both of whom were very pleased. Would definitely recommend this as a keepsake album.
