Great Gloves

I took these gloves with me when I went Heli Skiing in Alaska. They are warm, wicks away moisture and easy to take on and off. Highly Recommend!
Believe the hype.

Best gloves ever. Been skiing around 50 years and this gloves are the warmest I've ever had.
Great Gloves, Worth the Money?

First of all, these are by far the warmest, most comfortable, and most attractive gloves I have ever used. That said, I do have some problems with them, as well as some things to be aware of.
When I first got these, I was very impressed by the look and feel of the gloves. The inside liners are warm but breathable, so your hands don't get clammy. The synthetic outside feels very high quality, and seem to block out water. The leather is nice, but it seemed that the quality of some of the pieces were less than what you would expect after paying $140 for a pair of gloves. One of my gloves was fine, but the other had two pieces of leather in particular that looked worn and felt thin, which made me a bit worried about Hestra's quality control. One thing to note about the leather is that it needs to be treated with a leather balm, a small packet of which is included with the gloves. If you have a light leather, this balm will leave streaks and darken the leather slightly, though the streaking was much less noticeable after the first application.
So I guess what it comes down to is whether or not these gloves are worth forking up $140 for. I have only used these gloves for a short amount of time, so I can't attest to durability, but I can tell you that I don't think I would pay full price for these. Yes they're warm, and yes they look and feel nice. However, you can get nearly as good of a glove for half the price of this, and you may even prefer it since caring for the leather can be a bit of a chore. This ends up being a bit of a mixed review, because I do absolutely love these gloves, and If you're looking for the best of the best, you should consider these. But for an average person, I'm not sure I would recommend these, since they are much more expensive than a standard glove.
Note: The images posted this review were taken after one use and after the leather balm was applied once.

I just bought and used these gloves skiing in Montana for 2 days in 20-degree weather. Hands and fingers never got cold! Great combo mitten gloves!
Ok, NOW I see why Hestra gloves are the best!

They really did think about ever possible detail when designing these gloves.
I love the attention to detail and craftsmanship in their construction.
I will say men with large hands may be disappointed. I don't have long hands/fingers but I do have wide hands/wrists.
I ordered a size 11 (Hestra sizing maxes out at size 12) thinking they would be big, big enough for a thin pair of liners inside. While I love the gloves and fit, I am concerned that squeezing a set of liners inside may cause these Hestras to pack in quicker than desired.
So hopefully they can withstand subzero temps on my Canada ski trips 🤞ðŸ»
