My son bought one of these fans and raved about it, so I ordered one to have something to take out on the deck when I sat outside with my dog. Worked great, a breeze to carry (sorry for that one), and virtually silent. I've also used it to dry freshly mopped floors in a few minutes. Oh, yeah, mosquitoes and gnats aren't as much of a problem because the fan blows them away.

I got this fan for my bedroom to help with the window fan I have. I have it sitting about 5 feet away from the window fan directing the cool air towards my bed. This little fan blows well! It's not as noisy as some reviewers have said, maybe they are just very picky. For me personally, It's quiet enough that it doesn't bother me, and loud enough that I know it works.

Love, I have purchased 3 or 4 of the retro vornado fans, no more. They quit and are not as powerful as this one. Let me know if on sale, I will buy a backup!!!!!!
