This came very nicely packaged, but other than that, it's been fairly useless. We've managed to get a few tiny, faint rainbows out of it, but mostly we get nothing. We try different rooms, different sun positions, different types of light sources... nothing. It's a disappointment. I would not purchase this again.

Arrived well packed, intact, works well and you can see the visible light spectrum, kids were delighted and so was I :-)
If you place it down vertically, like we did in the attached pictures, and slightly rotate it you can have colors show up one by one.

I use this for photography to add some artistic touches to portraits and what not. Definitely does the trick.

Fun, beautiful & sturdy.
I bought this for my boyfriend (at the time), & he really liked it. It was one of the thing I got him that he actually took home to Wales after visiting. He had wanted one since he was young. He said the prisms are lovely.

This is a really nice quality crystal. The crystal is a great size and weight, and perfectly formed without defects. I bought it for my daughter, who is seven, as a Christmas gift. She liked it better than pretty much all of her other Christmas presents, and had a lot of fun doing experiments and playing with it. Lesson learned - next time, I'll buy her fewer toys and more science equipment! I'm also looking forward to using this with my camera for some fun photography effects.
