Man have ethernet cables become inexpensive. Most of our electronics are wireless now quietly beaming high frequencies all through our homes to talk to each other. A good old fashioned cable still has it's place though for hard wiring an item that has flaky wireless hardware. If you haven't encountered an item with flaky wireless yet consider yourself lucky. It is also always nice to have a some cables as a backup in case your wireless fails.
The cable is of good quality. The connector is solid and it has worked flawlessly for me It imeets the requirements of just about all equipment that would accept this connector with good transmit speed and low noise. The price for a cable of this length is fantastic. There are some other popular on line vendors selling quality cables at good prices as well, but how many of them will throw in free two day shipping.

We upgraded our home WiFi to a higher speed and I needed a longer Ethernet cable from our desk top to the modem that I currently have. Of course Amazon had the correct length and color and the Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (15 Feet) was highly rated. My cable arrived on time via Prime and did the job for my hookup. Can't complain it did the job and at good price too. Follow up email from seller was a plus regarding support if needed.
This cable was not used for a high bandwidth connection path.

If I could find a CAT-3 cable of the right length, it would have been fine to use it to connect between a wall based connector (about) 12 ft from a cable company supplied router. This cable was the best fit for the application and was spec'd to handle connection to a port on the100mbits/s router. Finally, the cable was well construction with ends that didn't looks sufficiently rugged for home use.
