If only you could find any type of trouble shooting instruction, customer support, or a website which will tell you what to do if the unit has the red light on for Not Working. I have searched the iSpring website and other sites trying to find support. Why have an indicator if there are no instructions on what to do about it. I have had the unit for 10 months and it has not been working for over a month. I have changed the bulb, which is $32.00, and the unit will still not work. It worked good up to this point and now nothing. Maybe I will get a response from my review. If there was an email or customer support site to aid in this there may be a lot better review.

My bacteria count was 206 on a range of 0-250, and this was able to bring it down below the limit of 10. NICE!!! Take your time on installation. I already had a filter in line with my drinking water so that made it easier. I preferred the horizontal mounting so I had to cut a short section of PVC pipe (1.5" pipe, I think) and screw that inside the cupboard. Of course I placed a 1/4" piece of plywood in between the PVC and the cupboard wall so the mounting clip was able to snap all the way around the pipe.

I installed this ahead of the ice maker/water dispenser on our fridge. I mounted it under a cabinet above the counter next to the fridge. I wanted it to be visible so I could see if it is in fact turning on when we draw water. The light is visible as a blue glow through the plastic fittings. The flow switch works flawlessly. Installation was easy with the push-in fittings. I installed a filter ahead of this unit to be sure the bacteria have no particulates to hide behind.

FORGET their Instructions, they are for another unit, as are the mounting clips. BUT, this is an easy install and a great product. 1) Buy 3' of extra 1/4" tubing. 2) Saw one mounting clip in half, drill a hole in each for a short screw into fridge back. 3) Cut fridge tube, insert in pressure switch. Insert your tubing from switch to the UV unit, insert fridge line to other end. Note: Pull off their blue tubing clips, seat the tubing firmly, then replace the clips! (See Photo).
I mounted everything to the fridge using small screws, including the electronic box that has a cord to plug into the wall socket.
It's all automatic. When a glass of water is filling, the pressure switch turns on the UV light which makes the tubing glow just enough to see it is working. Very nice unit.
