Water Hammer Stopped
L. J. Brown•January 8, 2017
Worked very well. Item shipped fast. Now my water line to our refrigerator is quiet.
Quited Aprilaire 800 Humidifier water fills.
M Miraglia•March 9, 2016
I added this to an Aprilaire 800 whole house humidifier and it took out the solenoid/water knock every fill up. Works great an easy install. Recommended purchase.

Worked perfectly to stop water hammer from our humidifier.
Works like a charm.
Lon Stowell•January 12, 2016
This item worked like a charm. Had a humidifier that developed an ongoing hum as the solenoid opened. Stopped it beautifully. Claims can be mounted in any position. Should also work on refrigerator lines.
Note that it expects 1/4 inch pipe with compression fittings to attach. If you remove the nut, you have a 3/8 inch thread, but it isn't the same as a regular 3/8 inch plumbing thread. If you want to attach it to an end point, just make a small adapter out of a hunk of 1/4 inch copper tube with compression fittings.
