18 Ounce Evo OIl Sprayer
Hedley W. Davies✓ Verified Purchase•August 13, 2017
I purchased 'Upgraded Version Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar Spray Stainless Oil Steel 100ml for Cooking Salad,Bread Baking,Barbecue Injector' a month ago and it proved to be pure junk. Please see my 1 star review. So back to the drawing board. This one by Evo is far better. It sprays well and the trigger is easy to press. It appears to be made of very light weight cheap plastic so I am concerned about its durability.
Update:- I'm so pleased I ordered two 8 ounce ones.
Update #2 - I've discovered that the pipe bends the wrong way so unless the bottle is full it will not spray when tilted and it is not possible to change the direction of the pipe. I am returning it for a refund. The 8 ounce version doesn't have this issue as the pipe goes straight down.

It is a very good product for spraying your own olive oil on a pan or on vegetables for roasting or putting a final touch on baking in the oven. I have bought several (the Plastic one) for presents as well which contain more oil than this but I melted my last one by leaving next to a very high BTU gas burner. This one contains less liquid but it does not melt like the plastic
Not much better than a $1.99 spray bottle

Others have complained about the sprayer getting clogged or the spray pattern being gloppy. I don't have those issues and suspect they apply to a minority of units.
I got this sprayer to almost exclusively use for spraying popcorn. I air-pop the popcorn, spray it with olive oil, then sprinkle nutritional yeast on top. Here are my gripes.
(1) The tube that draws from the sprayer does not reach to the bottom. Therefore, if there is a lower level of oil and you are tilting the sprayer, you can't spray. This is dumb. Anyone using this sprayer is going to tilt it. A well-designed spray bottle needs the intake coiled at the front bottom of the container.
(2) Any container designed to hold EVO should be very dark to protect the oil. I couldn't keep this on my countertop because my kitchen gets a lot of sun and the oil would be rancid in no time.
(3) The container is too big for my purposes, especially considering the transparency of the plastic as noted in (2). I found that I didn't use the oil quickly enough and the oil would degrade. Then you have to toss the wasted oil, wash it out and start again. And the issue noted in (1) means that you can't ever use up all the oil because low levels make it difficult to spray.
Not my cup of tea.

Pretty Good Oil Sprayer With Some Design Problems

I wanted to love this product, as I had purchased a similar product that absolutely failed to deliver anything positive at all. I am being a bit generous with 4 stars. If I had not experienced a complete flop with another brand, I would have given only 3 stars to this one at best. The spray is a bit on the course side, not a mist at all. I can live with that. The true problem is that the top and bottle threads are not truly compatible, When fully assembled, the top sits at an angle to the bottom and the thread engagement is poor at best. It can very easily come apart during use if one is not careful. If tipped over, I am very confident that the oil would leak all over. I use this sprayer with grape seed oil and it has worked for several months now.
Great Oil Sprayer

Best oil sprayer(s) I have ever used. Pull the trigger fast for best results, just make sure you are on target.
I use it daily for oiling pans, spraying olive oil on vegetables before roasting, etc.
They must be tough, because they came in a big box with 15 other items and the box was half full.....
and no packing materials ! In fact, one of the sprayers was off of the card.
Never seen a box from Amazon arrive that way......in 15-20 years.
Great sprayers though, I'm thinking of also getting the stainless one.
