Best flea/tick/overall bug medication/repellent for my dog, or any dog. This year was extremely bad for not only fleas, but allergies in general for not only humans, but domestic animals as well, including allergic flea dermatitis. Deer ticks were awful this year and so were mosquitoes. This repels even mosquitoes! Dogs can get lyme disease from deer ticks just like humans and this is also a great preventative against the heart worm carrying mosquitoes! Not only did this, and this medication has also done this in the past as well, rid my poor GSD ESA of all fleas and repel mosquitoes and ticks, but it also rid our home and yard of any and all fleas! This stuff is amazing! Thank you so much!

This is the only Flea treatment that I have found which works in Central Florida. My Dogs are itch free. Haven't seen a single one on them since treating them with this.
Best product on the market for fighting ticks

In my opinion Vectra is the best of the best for fighting ticks! We live in an area infested with those little pests. We have large dogs that love to run in the thick infested woods. When we moved here a year ago we thought we had them protected, but within a few months they both had Limes disease and one of them had two different tick born illnesses. We took them to the vet and she recommended Vectra. We are faithful to apply once a month and don't let even a day past that slip by. NO MORE TICKS! We did find a tick on one of the dogs but it was not imbedded. We took them back to the vet to be tested and they both are doing great. Vectra is the only tick prevention I will ever use. I highly recommend it!

I think this helps. We have never had fleas but ticks will get on the dogs...don't think they are able to actually have a meal. Anything that helps is great!
