I will start by saying i have tried NEARLY EVERY different brand of Diesel Fuel additive on the market, from performance blends to Lubrication blends. They all promised the moon, and very few of them did anything at all from my experiences. Opti-lube was the last one for me to try as i couldn't get it locally, so of course i tried all the brands i could find locally. I wish i would of STARTED with Opti-lube products first! This stuff is amazing, im not one to follow hype around products i like to see proof with my own eyes before i make up my mind. I had always seen on Facebook Diesel pages that the best stuff was Opti-lube, but it always turned out it was a Vendor saying those statements. Well after trying FOUR different blends from Opti-lube im here to tell you that if your having a problem getting quality fuel in your area this will fix all of your issues! Here in Alabama good diesel fuel is not around at all, you take what you can get. Well now with me using Opti-lube i have increased my MPG by roughly 15 miles to the tank, my throttle response has greatly improved, it starts up cold without any second thought, and it over all idles and drives better and smoother. I will continue to order Opti-lube for as long as i continue to own my truck! I'm currently mixing The XL, XPD, and Boost blends together in every tank and my motor couldn't be happier and all of my injectors are within + or - 1 while at park and idling.

I have used just about every diesel additive. I am back to this. It seems to offer the best of cleaner burning, anti-gelling, and lubrication of all of the additives all in a single formula. For more anti-gelling, you just add more of the additive. No more one for one day, one for another, etc. One formula, which you can adjust to meet the present needs. This is it...no more keeping 3-4 different items in my garage for special occasions! I understand to some people the fuel additive is close to a religious experience. I put all of that aside and found the best overall formula.
Objectively better lubricity than most others, but has a demulcifier, not an emulcifier for water.

This is an excellent diesel additive for lubricity. It was one of the best in testing for that purpose. Be aware, however, that if your adding it to your vehicle's tank, and the fuel gets agitated, then a demulcifier does very little for water unless you drain the water filter. An emulsifier will cause water to go into solution and simply pass through the engine, and if you are only concerned with tiny amounts of water in the vehicle tank, an emulcifier is probably better. That being said, I believe Chevy and Ford recommend demulcifiers over emulcifiers.
If you are adding this to a storage tank or large fuel tank, and you periodically drain the water from the bottom of the tank or separator, this is as good as you'll find for lubricity.

I picked up approximately .8mpg on my usual drive after my first use. Seems the engine runs smoother as well. My main concern was lubricity, or lack there of in ULS diesel fuel. This product has been extensively tested in fleet vehicles and its number one for what's available to me. It's very pricey though.
