Cheap, cheap, cheap!

For the amount of money I paid for this item, I thought it would be more durable, and not as, well, cheap as it is. First, the pump is cheap plastic that is *painted* gold. I expected the pump to be metal. It started to corrode and disintegrate at the tip of the pump almost immediately. Second, the pump is attached to the top of the jar itself on a small neck piece that has the screw piece the actual pump screws into just glued onto the jar. The entire pump system broke off of the jar.
I typically do not write reviews; however I could not let this pass. This is the cheapest piece of crap I have purchased for what I consider to be a higher price for items such as this. I do not recommend this product. At all. Not even a little bit.

This product is garbage from start to finish. The top was bent when it arrived, but the thing was quite pretty and I decided to keep it. Now, after three months the device that pumps the soap does not work..

This is beautiful. I love the colors which match the accents colors in my kitchen and it fits right in with the other rooster decor. When it first arrived and I filled it with liquid soap, it worked perfectly. After a little over a month, the pump won't work at all! I'm hoping I can find another pump that will fit to make this soap dispenser functional. Also, the tip of the dispenser has tarnished and looks bad.

I just received the salad bowl, which for some reason no longer appears among the pieces available. I hope it's not a discontinued item because it is very versatile. The bowl is 13" wide and 3" deep, perfect for thoroughly tossing a salad and presenting it nicely. It also will hold a substantial amount of fruit without burying half of it, thus inviting spoilage. The pattern - charming but not a work of art - is confined to the inside; the exterior of the bowl is a plain ecru. How sturdy and chip resistant it is remains to be seen; it's only just arrived, but I hope it will be serviceable for a good length of time.
