These are decent, but the problem I have is with the screws they give you to mount them with. I had one shear off at the head as I was installing it. It was screwed into hardwood, but it wasn't even to the point that I would consider pushing it to the limit. Decent enough, but just be careful with the mounting screws.

Very rustic. These bottle openers are heavy. Perfect for the bottle openers/wood that I was making. They will last for many years. These aren't thin cheap openers. Great quality!

These work great for projects that I make, the screw hole is not always the same and have had issues with screws not working becasue the hole was to big, but that is not very often.
Looks good, but doesn’t work well.

Looks cool, but as mentioned, the angle is all wrong. The only way I can make it work is by using a bushing at the top to angle it downward or mount it on something that's already angled. If you mount it on a vertical surface, hang a towel next to it.
Think around the problem.

I'm writing this review because many saw fit to score this one star because they spilt some beer. I read those reviews and confirm you have to put the bottle at a direct 90 degree angle to your surface mount in order to fit it in the opener. This sounds bad, but if you are the least bit mechanically inclined you can probably think around that by sliding a small washer under the top hole reducing the angle to 88 instead of the harsh 90. I don't spill beer now. Fixed. I really want to score this 4.5 stars but they don't give that option. The brown paint is not an antique finish, it's brown paint. It's not unattractive, it's just brown paint. If you put it on a black or silver finish and you wanted a rusty antique look, better luck next time, you get brown paint. It comes with some handy drywall anchors that will work wonderfully with other projects, what knuckle head would mount a bottle opener to drywall?! If you are lucky you'll just sheer the opener off the wall, if you are unlucky you sheer a large portion of drywall off a stud. You would have to be a freaking idiot to mount this bottle opener on drywall!! So some quick tips, mount it to something solid, use longer screws, put a washer under the top hole (see photo) and drink heavily and often. Cheers.
