This item was exactly what I needed. I read the description carefully and used my measuring tape to know exactly how big the lantern would be and it was perfect. You can see what I created and I used regular white tealights inside. I forgot to take pictures at night, but they looked gorgeous. Some of the little glass windows were loose, but they are like the back of a picture frame, so all you do is tighten the little metal flap.

I don't think the listing pictures do this lantern full justice. It's so beautiful in person, and feels bigger than what I expected it to be so that was a plus. The pattern on the glass is very pretty. It's very solid and well-made, and the biggest thing for me is that the door opens very nice and smoothly and clicks shut well. I've had problems in the past with other lanterns that have doors that don't open well, so it makes it impossible to get a candle in. This is totally not the case here - it opens up wide!! You can either hang it or set it on something, and it'll be great either way. I have this hanging outside so I hope it will hold up to the elements over time but we'll see.
