It works fine, but the instructions are bizarrely vague about how to extend and collapse the ladder safely. Also, fairly inaccessible, almost like they don't want you to read them. Still, I'm glad it's not an overseas knockoff.

Can't beat this ladder for its great mobility and low weight! Very easy to toss into almost any vehicle and even leave it there if needed. The only downside is that you may occasionally need an A-frame ladder when there isn't a good place to lean this ladder up, but for basic home purposes this works great. I was able to work on first floor gutters effectively. Definitely heed the warnings about where to put your hands when lowering the rungs, though. There's great potential to truly squash your hand or finger/s if you make a mistake, but it's worth the risk for the benefits of a small, relatively sturdy home ladder.

Sturdy (holds 230# w/out any bending) & stays in place (even on gravel). It stores compact enough to throw in the camper (for clearing the roof of leaves), and takes up minimal space in the garage compared to our assortment of other ladders. Looking at replacing those old extension ladders with a longer one of these!
Only negative was fingers got pinched once when I collapsed it for the first time - no serious damage. Learned quickly to be aware of where to keep my hands when collapsing it for storage.

Very handy ... just be CAREFUL when you're collapsing it. I wasn't paying attention and just pushed the buttons and about 6 layers of ladder came crashing down on the web between my thumb and index finger! Wasn't pleasant, very painful! But I still love this ladder and have just learned how to be careful with it. Make sure your hands are well below the buttons when pushing them to collapse and all good.
