Purchased three bottles to help build platelets. Through later research discovered a specific warning to those with iron overload. My overload resulted from so many blood transfusions, causing my ferritin level to exceed normal range by more than 10 times, prior to my first purchase. Please research this and add a caution.

My Mom was undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for head and neck cancer. Her platelets dropped and dropped again, and they had to stop doing chemotherapy until they went back up to a suitable level. We had heard about this type of product and in all honesty did not believe it would work but after having her doctor clear it for her to use, tried it for 5 days and her platelets doubled and she was able to complete her treatment without anymore disruptions.
I'm still amazed and wonder why it isn't regularly recommended for treatment but perhaps it's lack of testing and FDA approval.
