Big Jet

My daughter is obsessed with Big Jet from Little Einsteins. I saw this and knew she would love it...she does! Also, bonus because my dad was a Navy pilot. Seems pretty sturdy. My daughter is almost four and plays with it appropriately. I keep it away from my two year old son...it's pointy enough for him to use as a weapon (inadvertently).

The plane is made of fairly heavy duty metal. With rough use things can break off, but that's to be expected with a child's toy. This was a gift for a 6 year old boy--he loved it. One issue I had is that one of the plastic wheels had a tiny leftover tab left on it under the rubber tire. This made the plane wobble like a lame duck. I took the tire off and scraped the plastic down so that it was even--that helped it to roll much better but there is still some wobble.

Great construction, but not for a toddler. (My bad.) My toddler broke one of the back fins off within the week and I stepped on it in the dark and broke the other one off. LOL! Oh well. He STILL loves it and plays with it all the time. Metal + Plastic construction, plus the PULL BACK function make this a great toy....for a 5+yo.
Good toy and fun for the money.

This is NOT a one piece die cast metal toy. The top half of the jet is plastic. Also it is not as pictured. There are no bombs attached to the wings.
The landing gear wheels do not fold up either. Other than that , I was fairly happy with the item. The paint and markings are realistic to the real life Blue Angels jet team, although the number is not correct for anyone who has ever seen them perform. #6 is not a two seater. If you buy this just as a toy and not as a true replica it's fine.
