Bought this part because a post on acurazine said this part would fit my Acura. Indeed, it does. Just pry off the mirror (there are 3 points that you use flat screwdriver). Then use T10 to unscrew the actuator - 3 screws. Unclip the wires and remove. Took about 15 minutes because I was being extra careful on the mirror.
I've attached a picture with me holding the new part. It is identical.
After install, no more clicking noise or difficulty moving. Side view works perfectly. Well worth the $48 paid.

It took a bit of effort to remove the broken mirror and actuator. But installing was really quick and easy. 10 minutes everything is done.

Installed on a 2008 MDX that had intermittent memory recall of the seat position, mirrors, steering column and radio stations. Took about 15 minutes to change. Only special tool you will need is a T10 torx bit to remove and replace the actuator. Little unnerving popping the glass loose but it will come off with a long blade screwdriver. Pop off the glass, remove wires for glass defroster, remove 3 torx bit screws, remove 2 wire harnesses and reverse for installation. Glass will snap into the actuator. You will save hundreds of dollars over what the dealer will charge. If one is bad I would change both because the other probably isn't far behind. I only had to change one due to a new mirror assembly was recently installed on the one side due to ripping it off on the garage door frame. Good luck, this is an easy fix most Acura's will need at some point. The part has a revised part number from original, leads me to believe Acura/Honda has improved it in some form or fashion.
