Perfect for guns that don't have a rail

We live in the mountains of SoCal, and thus have a lot of predators that like to wander through yards looking for pets to snatch. So, at night, I go out with an air rifle to look after our 15 pound dog.
As anyone will tell you, trying to aim a rifle while holding a flashlight is next to impossible, and most low to mid power air rifles don't have a rail to mount a light on.
This solves that problem, by attaching directly to the barrel. The bright light clearly illuminates the yard, and can even reach into the upper branches of the tall trees around us to scare off any owls that might be looking for a quick meal.

Almost Perfect Budget Barrel Mounted Light!!!

Great budget flashlight! I purchased this light kit for my son's air rifle for night time pest control. I was a bit skeptical because of the price, but i was impressed when I actually mounted the light on his barrel. Light is bright and about equal to the 800 - 900 lumens, but the drop off is sudden after about an hour. Light looks cheap, but thats not what its used for. It feels solid, but I prefer a non-glossy finish. Mounts are also solid but would benefit from a ring protector so your barrel wont get too scratched. Kit came in a carrying case that included, the light, mount rings, batteries, charger, pig tail switch(wire remote switch), and extra hardware. Almost a perfect budget light! Since it was made to be mounted and it includes the pig tail switch, it should come with some kind of adhesive to place it on you rifle.
BESTSUN LED tactical light.

I now have two of these after being pretty impressed with the first one I ordered. Better light penetration and brighter than any light I have used previously, including lights issued while on Active Duty (granted, that was a few lunar cycles ago).
The rechargeable batteries and charger included with the light is a big plus in my opinion. Two (2) batteries are included and the light only requires one (1) to operate, so you can always have a spare at the ready. The Lithium 123A type batteries many high intensity lights require get to be pretty cost prohibitive, in my opinion, and I have thrown out or given away any lights that required them at this point. It puts my 3 C-cell Maglight to shame as well. I do recommend using some blue Locktight for the rail attachment or it WILL rattle loose on you after putting some rounds downrange.
The only negative I have noted thus far is the "remote" (wired) on/off switch. One end has a pressure hold on, release off, which works fine, and the other is a regular old click on, click off. The "click" side sometimes has a little delay in it indicating some sort of short. Only time will tell how that does but that was why I gave the light only 4 vs 5 stars.

Great light + batteries.

I already did an extensive review of the Cisno flashlight, and i'm pretty sure that this is actually the exact same light but rebranded. Being that the Cisno is merely a few dollars cheaper but comes without any batteries, and this one comes with 2 batteries, and a charger too, it's a no-brainer.
Admittedly the batteries are not the absolute best but they do a decent-enough job.
My Cisno is mounted on my 12-gauge shotgun, and withstood about 24 rounds with the light on, and the light never dimmed, went out or broke, and still worked/works just fine afterwards. I would consider the light to be sturdy and reliable. I have had the Cisno for over 2 years and it still works fine.
So, I consider this a good buy, and well worth the 30-odd dollars, give or take. I doubt you can find a better light with batteries and charger for this price.

Worth while investment for backyard 40 yard pesting if not using daily.

It is very bright and the remote switch has 2 positions. The first, closest to the wire is steady on steady off. The button on the very end of the switch is a momentary on/off. This switch doesn't have the much hated S.O.S crap going on just a very nice On/Off and that in itself is awesome. Update...the pressure sensitive remote switch quit working about 6 weeks after I got the light. This seems to be a common problem because out of 4 devices I have bought with these switches...all no longer work. You will without question have to use the push button switch on the base of the light soon enough. My gear is used daily so mileage may vary. Mine is past the return date as usual. Should have known by now not to get a remote pressure switch anything ever.
