The disc is true to advertising. It's unfortunate you can't control the color of the disc unless you are paying a LOT more on here but that just seems to be the standard now-a-days.

I have the same problem with this disk as another person. Immediately fades so strong to the left that it loses a lot of distance. Seems impossible to throw well. I can bomb the Valkyrie farther, I'm a RHBH. Maybe I lack technique for it, but it's the disk I hate the most.

I love the champion ape, I've been throwing them for years with sterling results. My only issue was with the color. The sale page displays a bright green disc, not my favorite. Poor to throw with, but it would still suffice. I know it says "colors will vary" so I was going to be ok with it showing up as orange, yellow, green. The disc that arrived was jet black. Needless to say I lost it the second round I played with it. I've learned my lesson from buying discs that say "colors may vary". I'll be hand picking my discs from now on at a brick and mortar shop.
