These are always messy but good lord! She would spend 20 minutes, be covered in dust and still hadn't found a gemstone. In the end they where all kind of clumped together. I know that's not intentional or anything but it gets discouraging for kids when they spend so much time and still don't find anything.

My kids and I did some mining together with this fun kit! This was the perfect activity for a rainy day or when it's too hot to go outside. It is rather messy, and you'll need to be prepared with newspaper and a vacuum. But we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the kids learned a lot! I highly recommend!

I bought this for my 6 YO nephew and he loved it! The next time I came over he had a handful of fun colorful rocks to add to his collection and he couldn't have been more pleased!
