This product did not come with any instructions and was just loose in an Amazon box in a clear bag-no box or instructions and there was a white knob of some sort just laying around inside of the box. I have NO IDEA how to use this product and its really frustrating because I was sooo excited about getting it! Very inconvenient. Now I have to waste my time trying to look up/find instruction.... I hope I can get it to work.

So far so good, for those that have the same question I had before purchase. Yes, they can be used without the need to be bolted to a surface and so weird they didn't mention it on the description but it comes with some pads (sorry for the weird angle I took the picture) which really helps.
Ideally you should bolt them but that's why I purchased two, gonna bolt one to a table and have the other one ready to use on the go. Will update if something changes.

I grind my own sausage, beef, and wild game. I put the sausage stuffer attachment on my grinder and grind right into the bags, twist and seal. It is so much faster this way instead of having to put the meat in ziplock bags and get all the air out before sealing.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing it and figured that it is cheap enough that if I had the same problems so had, wouldn't be too much of a loss. To my surprise, it works great and cuts my time if not in half, pretty close to it.
Bagging ice at work is the bane of my existence, twist ties take up 50% of the time or more and is hell of the finger tips. It took about 10 bags to get the tape sealer down pat. If you just jam the bag through the machine, you're going to have a horrible experience and you'll spend more time redoing the tape. If you twist (spin) the bag closed and then calmly run the bag through the machine you'll end up with perfectly taped seals.
First few times I messed the tape up but afterwards have not had one single problems and it's a total game changer for me. I'm able to make bagged ice so much faster which allows more time to dedicate to other things.
