I've only had the scale for about a month, but so far so good. Very easy to use and looks like it should hold up nicely. One downside, I have white counter tops and the metal feet leave marks when you scoot it around. The marks come off with a little scrub, but it's a little irritating.

We bought this scale to weigh fruit boxes we sell at our local farmers market. Wanted something simple but didn't cost an arm and a leg.
I like the fact that you can adjust this scale rather easily to account for box or container weight. One negative is the flat plate is rather small so if you have a good sized box it can tip easily if you don't center it properly. With a larger box it is also difficult to read the scale.
On balance the scale works for our needs.

We bought this scale because the digital ones we bought previously kept breaking or falling in the sink of water. They are not waterproof. We use this scale in a restaurant so it gets lots lots of wear and tear. It is still going strong. We also like that it has no batteries replace. It is commercial grade, and I expect it to last a long time. I gave it 4 stars only because I would like the surface area on top to be a little larger. But it works great.
