my husband loves it, so far the only issues is that the bag has to constantly be tightened because it keeps on getting loose after a few punches. Other than that, it has been great. We live in a NYC apartment, so it is a bit noisy, but he puts a thick blanket under the base to drown a little of the sound from the base bouncing from the hits. We use water and that is enough to hold it in place. Remember, this bag is not for beating it as hard as you can, it is to work on technique and speed drills.
