Works well & looks good. Still rocks forward away from the fireplace when you open the door. Clearly, they used strong magnets. Have had logs tumble off the pile & hit the door and it didn't open at all. For our purpose we had to cut the rear leg off the feet of the unit. They don't show it in the pics, but there's a long rear piece of metal that comes off the back of the feet on the unit.. If it fits your opening, you're good to go and the rear piece of metal won't be an issue.
