Comfortable, cute, fits nicely. My 6 yr old daughter is 34 lbs and 40" tall. I got her a size 6 it fits her great. I would say their size 6 is equivalent to a size 4 in girls. So plan on ordering 2 sizes up and you'll be fine. The top is stretchy, the bottom is nylon. The slip comes down to my daughter's knee caps.

My daughter loves the stretch on the top of this slip. She wants to wear it as a nightgown all the time in the summer because it is so comfortable. As a mom, I can't say how much I appreciate that merchants are still making and selling full slips.

The sizing is probably a little small. Because of thei There's reviews I ordered a 14 accidentally (I meant to order a 10-12) for a girl that's about an 8. It is long on the waist and long overall but works for the almost ankle length skirt she is using it with so it stays...I like that it is smooth under her shirt and doesn't show a lot of seams.
