Good quality but smaller hand towel than brand I usually use. Bigger deal is no loop to hang towel. Label does not either. Good weight-somewhat disappointing but keeping for utilitiy towels

I operate a high-class spa -- everything I offer has to be THE BEST. I've have spent 10 years searching for THICK, water absorbent hand towels to use steamed during bodywork treatments to help soften "tough" tissue-issues. Nothing relaxes the body's soft-tissue structures that have become stuck in a state of stress better than MOIST HEAT. All the other towels I've researched and experimented with have been mediocre, at best. I took a chance on these, having bought other towels on Amazon (with acceptable, but still lacking, appeal).

I read the reviews for these towels, and paid particular attention to the 1- & 2-star reviewers. The two most memorable complaints were: 1) they bleed and even fade/change color through wash. I bought a 6-pk of white and a 6-pack of blue to sample. Complaint #1 is totally valid IF you wash them in hot water, maybe even in warm. But this is true of ANYTHING that has been color-dyed. So I washed mine in cold water -- they came out PERFECT.

Complaint #2) they began falling apart at the edges after a couple months of putting them through the washer on HIGH SPIN... I'm sorry if this is inappropriately rude, but... DUH!!! Have you ever watched a front loading machine run a spin cycle? Especially on HIGH SPIN? It is literally subjecting the items being washed to the equivalent force of a fetchin' tornado. These towels are sewn together well, but not indestructibly well (what is?). Throw them through a tornado a few times, and by-golly, you're just BEGGING for those seams to come apart. Be wise when you wash them. Don't wash them with ANYTHING ELSE at least the first few times (colored), they do bleed a little. Follow the instructions on the tag.

I had several reasons for buying these 6 blue hand towels. First, I have had to move to the downstairs half bath because of my husband's medical needs upstairs. The downstairs bath is blue, while our other towels are all ecru or pink. Second, I needed just hand towels, but substantial ones, somewhat plush, to be used by myself as well as anyone else coming to our home. Third, I wanted to avoid towels being made, as are most products these years, in a certain country. I have nothing against the people of that country, but their products in the past have caused some harm, perhaps influenced by a value system marked by dreadful politics and repression, and these towels were to be used for face as well as hands. I have noted that in all our local stores towels come almost exclusively from that nation, with the exception of some very wonderful rose-colored Mundu bath towels from Portugal I was lucky enough to find a year or so back at TJ's (though never again). Of course, most hope for a made-in-the-USA product is long gone. After giving up on my "towels from Portugal" web search, I noticed these. Made in Turkey of Turkish cotton, they are not as luxurious as the Mundu towels, but I didn't expect them to be. They are perfect for the downstairs powder room, launder beautifully, thicken up each time washed, and hold their really-beautiful blue well. For just over $4 a towel (and free shipping because I included another small product), I am well pleased. Thank you, Amazon, for all you offer and your nearly-always excellent service by sellers.

I checked out every towel on here and elsewhere before ordering these because I wanted something that would last a while and that would stay soft for a long time. Plus wouldn't cost me a fortune either. I ordered these in both the rose color and the green color with matching hand towels, washcloths and bath mats. Color was consistent in all of them although I ordered at different times. The rose is more of a rose pink than a bright pink like in pictures but the green is pretty much the color in the pictures. I've washed them in vinegar and laundry soap and there was a little loose lint and pink fuzz in trap but not as much as I thought. They came out feeling even softer than when they were new.

They say they were made in Turkey and are 700 gsm . I compared them to some old Canopy towels that felt like the same thickness as these. I've had the Canopy ones a long time and they are no longer as soft as I want them. I think I goofed over the years on the Canopy though and put dryer sheets in with them a few times and you aren't supposed to use fabric softener with towels as they can't absorb water afterwards.

I'm very pleased with the towels and the colors are beautiful! The price is great compared to some that are probably no better than these are. Guess I won't find out because even if I was rich I wouldn't pay no $60 for a towel.

I've never liked the way bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes are priced in the department store. It seems the idea is to use the bath towel and a lost leader and then over charge on the ones you need the most "“ the hand towel and wash cloth.

Thank goodness for Salbakos. These hand towels are great quality. Actually I was pleasantly surprised. They are thicker than I thought they would be. They are soft, absorbent and nice looking.

I am very pleased with the quality. We've run them through the wash a few times and they still look great.

The best feature is the price. If I had purchased these in a department store, I would expect to pay at least twice what these cost.
