light weight and does the job
oldmagnoliaMay 31, 2018
This scope is a very good buy considering cost/quality. I have been using it to site in my Henry 22's at 100 yds. and it the scope does a nice job of showing my hits on target at this distance. I am pleased & would buy again.
the optics are marginal at best. Dim views

While this is very compact and seems well built, the optics are marginal at best. Dim views, hard to focus, not impressed.
It also had no lens hood/shade so operation is restricted to facing away from the sun or being in the shade.
I've returned it.
Great scope for the price!

I tried several less expensive scopes, trying to find one I can use at the range and for casual wildlife or lunar gazing. For the price, this scope delivers a clear image and has quality construction. All more inexpensive scopes will loose their sharpness at the higher power but this scope had the clearest image, with some fringing, at the highest power. It is lightweight and the tripod, while not the most expensive, is actually very good for the price mark. It was very stable on the range table and the handle tightens/loosens easily to adjust your view. At 200 yards I ranged in on a light post in my neighborhood. The image was clear and sharp, and I easily could read the 4-6 inch letters/codes on the post. At the 100 yard range, I could see small .22 caliber holes easily and clearly on the target. For the moon, I only used the 25 power but the image was clear. For higher power lunar gazing, I'd need to try a larger more stable tripod. Overall, this scope delivers as promised, it is well built and for the price (again this is not your high end optics) it is more than adequate for your casual range or outdoor wildlife viewing needs. 5 stars!
For the price range and magnification... worth every penny.

I had second thoughts about buying this spotting scope. Yes it is cheap(price) and it boasts a 75X magnification but i feel like it was money well spent. I was pleased with the way it was packaged. I took it out to a range that goes out to 600 yards and it did the job. I somewhat agree with other posts that say that the higher magnification are somewhat useless,BUT i think it depends on the distance of the object. The picture doesn't do this scope justice because i was holding my cellphone up to the scope hoping to get a clear shot but it shows 500&600 yard targets in the middle of 25X & 50X magnification. If you need a spotting scope for zeroing in a rifle at 100/200 yards.... i would NOT HESITATE to recommend this scope. A friend and I had no problems shooting steel and spotting out to 500 yards. 600 was a little tough because of the heat glare, so i will have to try again but i am very pleased with this purchase.
Good clarity. Only thing I would like to have ...

Just what I was looking for. Small & compact. Paid $80, you just can't go wrong for that price. Good clarity. Only thing I would like to have seen is the eye cap needs to be secured to the scope as it comes off easily when removing scope out of bag. I have a large Swarovski for the far views but just wanted something I could leave on the ATV without worrying about someone stealing it. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
