Worked well for us, but does depend on your specific gutters

We used these for the 2020 Christmas season, and they worked well for us, but I do think it's more dependent on your specific gutter than the marketing suggests. We have rounded gutters, and these held the lights in place for the whole season, but I wasn't able to get them completely tight, so the lights were not as neat and perfect as shown in the photos. I think with more standard gutters, it would probably work better. But we got a lot of wind, and the light stayed put, so the hooks did their job. One bonus of them not fitting super tightly is that I was able to remove them at the end of the season without getting back up on a ladder. I just used a long pole to lift them up out of the gutters from below. While they aren't perfect, in terms of ease of use vs. other solutions, these were a winner for us and we will use them again.

They are perfect for hanging lights off the gutters. They fit through the metal gutter guards, just make sure your gutter guards do not have the mesh screen on them.

Easy to use. They go right through the hole and hold tight enough. The metal is easy to bend so I just bend it around the cord so the lights don't come off. I left them on last year when I put the lights away and just reattached the lights to the gutter, using these, last week- Really easy and better than the plastic ones that break all the time.

Bend the hooks at a 90â° angle to keep them in! Before I read the other reviews telling you to bend them, a small wind storm (30mph gusts) ripped through my neighborhood and the hooks fell out of my gutters. A few days after fixing and bending everything, another wind storm rolled though (60mph gusts) and all the hooks held fast. It's a little time consuming at first, but these hooks seem sturdy enough to last years and next year will be a breeze to install.
