I really should give it 5 stars because I don't believe the reason I'm returning it is their fault. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bathrobe! Yes the sleeves are long (second pic), but they stay put when rolled up. It's lightweight, feels good on my skin and I love the stripes. So why only 4 stars??? When I sit down, it doesn't stay closed. My everything is hanging out for all to see! It's definitely a man's robe and I knew that going in... Also, there's no inside tie but I sewed one in myself. I wish it was a woman's silhouette, but it's gotta go back.

This bathrobe exceeded my expectations. I love it. It gets softer and softer each time I wash it. Having a hood is fun too, it keeps my wet hair contained. (This is Tom's wife btw.) You will be happy with anything made of 100 percent cotton Turkish pestemal. I have the bath sheets and smaller hand towels as well, and it makes for the prettiest bathroom ever. I got rid of all of my other towels because I liked the Turkish ones so much better, they are also more absorbent. The bathrobe is made of exactly the same fabric as the towels, and I am very enthusiastic about both of them. One word of caution, the robe shrank quite a bit when it was washed, but it still fits me (I am a tall woman with long arms). I ordered the men's robe for myself, knowing it was all cotton and would probably shrink to fit, and it did. Women's robes are usually too short in the arms for me. This robe is a great color too, very flattering. The arms were so long when it arrived that I had to roll them up, but once it was washed they shrank to fit perfectly.

In the summer I wear this garment in my underwear for the improved air circulation, in the winter I throw it on over my pajamas for added warmth. Whether hot or cold, this robe has you covered, just not in a literal sense.
The belt alone doesn't keep it together that well, so those around you will get plenty of peeks underneath. I guess if it's sex appeal you're going for, then this robe is for you.

I was looking for a yukata to wear around the house, but this robe with a hood looked really nice. I'm a short dude, so I figured I wouldn't have to hem this, the way I was expecting to hem a regular size yukata. It fits really well, and I love having pockets, as I wear this around the house...my apartment is a fishbowl, and I like having the shades up. I don't think my neighbors are looking, but they MIGHT be, so I feel a bit more modest in my Turkish Hooded Bathrobe. The cotton is super soft, and I sort of like the tassels. It hasn't shrunk running it on low in the dryer, and the price was right. Recommend!
