Very versatile, hinge or latch!
Subtiliter✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 4, 2023
Very impressed, almost perfect!
This versatile little hinge is great for removable cabinet doors, and can also be used as a latch in certain installations.
-It has a nice even brushed stainless finish, but you can tell it's not designed as a show hinge; Die cut marks around the edges are semi-finished. They're de-burred, but not a smooth radius at the corners.
-I ordered and received four, they all functioned interchangeably and looked almost identical. The small knurled pins aren't always exactly 90 degrees to the bolt, but unless you're as ocd as I am, you probably won't notice.
For the price, these are fair and no trouble. However;

MINUS ONE STAR, BECAUSE:
-No included screws; I don't always use the included screws, as it can change with the project. But these should still include (four) 5/8" stainless screws for general use. These hinges only included a trip to the hardware store.
-Lack of a third screw hole on the center of each mounting plate; Given the size of these hinges and the double bolt pins, a third hole on each side is better than not in most cases. It was no problem for me, with a vice/clamp, center punch, drill, bit, and countersink, but I shouldn't have to take the time to finish making the hinges. (But then it'd need to come with even more screws!)
-Packaging; Mine each came in a tiny minimalist plastic bag... Bouncing around with the rest of my order in a big box like a shaker bottle.

Would buy again.
over priced

Yes I gave it 5 stars. If you need a bunch, this price is high for what it is. But of course, there isn't a big market for this.
I used it on my portable solar panel pair as a hinge in one direction, and a latch in the other. This way I can open the solar panel pair in two different orientations.
I used rivets.
Works great.
Used for installing solar panel on my van

I used for of these for installation of a 100W solar panel on my VW Van. They bolted right on and are used as a hinge as well as they can be disconnected for removal. Solid product.
Expensive but works well

Well built, however very expensive for what it is. I assumed this was a 2 pack, but it's just a single hing.
Great utility

So these are cool. I use them to secure a solar panel on my vanagon. It allows securing the panel but also allowing the panel to be uncoupled and either pointed towards sun or removed altogether. If you need something bolted down but can be removed, these are the hinges.
