Good for switching out lenses during the day but I wouldn't store my lenses this way. They are not secure enough for me but work for a short term solution. Price is right.

There protect my expensive glass (EOS 17m and 24mm TS-E), so I can leave the Lee filter holder attached. There's cheap plastic caps that have to be somewhat worked over the filter. Bush league, but functional.

Great when you're out in the field and need protection for your front element, but have the lee adaptor ring on. I know the adaptor ring comes off with a few twist, but when you're doing a seascape shoot during sunset, and have to move from one spot to another, every second counts.
Secondary use with these caps are for the protection of the rings themselves, against any other metallic items in your camera bag.
