Handy case for many crochet hooks. I have a complete set of crochet hooks and extension cords in my case along with small scissors and other needed accessories. The only issue I had with this case was that one of the metal grommets holding the strap together was missing. I was able to replace it without much problem. I can now attach the handles easily with the clasps provided or I sometimes take them off to save room if I pack the case in another bag.
Not bad for what I wanted it for, but could use improvement.

I have quite a lot of downtime at work, so I fill that time by knitting. I got this case so I could keep multiple sets of needles at my desk for my ongoing project of knitting hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves to send to local shelters, without having needles rolling around everywhere. I'd be hard pressed to store a project in this case, but it does hold most of my needle collection.

One one side, there's a section with 6 vertical slots for 10" straight needles, or long DPN's. I just managed to squeeze my 10mm (US 15) needles into a slot together, though it's not till you get down to 4.5mm (US 7) that it's actually easy to insert and remove needles into the slots. This section is on your right hand if you have the zipper at the bottom.

After that, is the clear pouch (the picture isn't completely accurate). This will fit a full-sized pair of scissors as shown, and small notions. I have my darning needle in there, too.

Next, you have the section with the slots for circular needles. There's a zippered pouch on the back of it, but I don't have anything in there, nor do I have anything in the little buckled section on the front, because I can't imagine anything staying in there. Each of the slots on this section goes all the way to the bottom, so you can store progressively longer circular needles in higher slots. I can neatly fit two 16" sets of any size next to each other in each slot.

Finally, the section for DPN's. It's defintiely only suited for 5" needles, but since that's what I have, that's fine by me. You may also be able to store crochet hooks in this section. All of my DPN's are 5-needle sets, and any size over 4mm (US 6), I need to store three in one loop and two in the next because they're too tight to store all of my needles in one loop. The largest size that I was able to get in the loops was 6mm (UK 4, don't recall offhand what the US size is as these aren't labelled with them), and that required lifting the second loop up with a spare needle to get the third needle into to loop.

If you or the person you are giving this case to are sensitive to smells, I'd be cautious. It has a very strong chemical/fake leather scent, somewhat harsh to the nose.

Now, things that I would improve:

The slots for straight needles and the loops for DPN's are all the same size. It would be more useful to have them made of graduating sizes to accomodate larger needle sizes.

Remove either the clear plastic pouch or the pouch on the back of the section for circular needles. This makes the case a little bulky, especialy when it's full of needles.

Make the case dimensions a little thicker - it's bulky and lumpy when you have all the sections filled, and can be difficult to zip, especially at the corners.

A better zipper. It fights when the case is full, and I'd hate to break it.
Disappointing

For someone who has many sets of knitting needles and crochet hooks, this bag is disappointing. Really little room to store needles and the size makes it suitable for only double-pointed or crochet hooks. And there aren't a lot of spaces for those.
I was hoping for something that would allow me to consolidate some of my sets. This wasn't it.
looked good, but.

I loved the look of it. thought it was going to be great. But the zipper is messed up on this. doesn't close correctly, comes apart(the zipper), right in the middle. not put together well.
