I got this 8-ball and the 9-ball racks as a set. The 9-ball is so bad I am afraid it will damage my felt if I try to use it, this one is almost as bad, but not quite. Like the 9-ball one I got this one is ugly. The finish is again blotchy and uneven and appears to have some friction burns on it as well. Some dings and deep grains in the wood don't even have finish on them, just bare wood spots. The wood itself is also rough and in dire need of sanding in several places. It's not so rough as to think it would snag my felt as with the 9-ball, but bad enough that I wouldn't want this stinker uglying up my game room. Just like the 9-ball version I will be returning this one and going with another brand. Pro Series had 2 tries to get this right, and dropped the ball in both cases, these will mark my last purchases from them.
