Let me start by saying, when this product arrived, I loved it! Appears to be well made and sturdy. I'm sure that if you would like to own a pogo stick you rarely use, this is the one for you! However, my son who is on the autism spectrum loved bouncing on it 1-4 hours/day! It was his favorite Christmas gift and absolutely amazing! Until it broke 3.5 weeks later. I joked that he had worn it out. But, really? That is like wearing out a bike in a few weeks. Shouldn't a product like this withstand to several hours of use per day and still last at least several months if not a year? To break in a few weeks is absurd. Amazon was wonderful to send us a replacement and I was hoping the first one was just defective until, guess what? Five weeks later, the new one fell to pieces too. Quite shocking to look this well made and really be so cheap like this. Wow. What a disappointment to my son two times in a row. I don't think I've ever left a negative review of anything, but this is bad for everyone when things are so poorly built that they just fall apart like this. Since we were one-week outside the return window, Amazon at first said they wouldn't send us a new one or refund our money. However, in the end, they were awesome and gave us a full refund. Now, I have to start looking around to find him a pogo stick that will hold up when used for its actual purpose of bouncing. I will also add here that my son is exactly 100-pounds and all he did is bounce on the pogo stick the way it was intended to be used.

I have two rough and tumble boys. These seem like they will hold up to their destructive ways. My soon to be 9 year old is 69 lbs one of the tallist kids in his class. and although it was a stiff start, and it's a bit high for him (the handle bars come to his chest) he has been hopping a bunch in our basement (too cold and icey outside) my 11 year old is just at the lower end of weight for this at 80 lbs. Handle bars come just above his waist. They will likely be bouncing all over the neighborhood on these in the spring and summer. Perfect for my energetic boys on days I don't want to try to keep up with them on their mountain bikes or trick bikes at the park...

ours just arrived today but we are waiting to give it for Christmas which is about a little over a month away before we will try it. But I wanted to include some photos of the paperwork that came in with the pogo stick. This would have been helpful for me in deciding which pogo stick to purchase as I was a bit confused I have a 75 lb 8 yr old boy and I have purchased the master Pogo which is for ages 9 and up again with a weight limit of 80 to 160 lb. I chose not to get the smaller one because I felt like he would outgrow it very quickly. Now that I have taken the pogo stick out and can feel how strong the spring is I don't think this is something he could use yet. He would need to be heavier and I think would become frustrated with this one. In hindsight I wish I had purchased the Maverick Pogo.. I think a lot of the reviews are for any one of the three different models they sell so all the weight limit discussions are all over the place. They sell three different kind of flybar pogo sticks one is the Maverick Pogo ages 5 through 9 with a weight limit of 40 to 80 lb. Then they have the master Pogo ages 9 and up weight limit 80 to 160 lb. Lastly they sell one called any number of names super Pogo too, flybar 800 or super Pogo. These all have different weight limits and these are ages 14 and up. See the photo which will explain which one of those ages 14 and up pogos go with what weight limit. Hope this helps. Otherwise package fine and arrived in good condition. Ours is blue and white with white foam on the handlebars.

Dangerous sharp edge where rivet joins the two bars to form the handlebar. Please note: Not just protruding metal. SHARP metal. Detected because it cut through the foam wrap. Manufacturer actually advised, in writing, "use duct tape". So much for Buy American. Avoid doing business with FlyBar at all costs. The do not care about the quality of their products or the safety of your child.

After reading your email I personally inspected several Master Pogos and they all have the exposed edge that you are referring to (but the edge is not sharp), that is the way that they are made. I think a small piece of duct tape will suffice if you think it seems sharp."

Bought it for my 11 year old daughter. I can barely make the springs go down at 200 pounds. Collecting dust now. Advise to not buy.
