Makes for a great manicure

I have never used a cuticle remover before and purchased this brand based on recommendations. First I wash my hands so I'm not smearing germs under my cuticles. I have a couple paper towels available because I'm messy. Then I add a drop of the cuticle remover to the nail bed and let it sit for a minute. The solution quickly softens my cuticles. I use a wood manicure stick to push the cuticles back and to remove the white, sticky stuff. Once a nail is done I wipe it clean with a paper towel. When I've finished all my nails, I wash my hands and my nails look fabulous.

I have always used CND cuticle away and occasionally another brand here and there. I thought CND was my favorite. That has definitely changed. After watching a Youtube channel by the name of The Meticulous Manicurist I noticed how well Blue Cross cuticle remover was working for her. So I decided to give it a try. Hands down the best I've used. It is very thin which made me have doubts but it ended up doing most the work for me! I did notice that the lady I watched use it had transfered hers to a glass container and used a medicine dropper for applying the product. I find that this helps with portion control especially since it is much thinner then I am use to using. I will purchase this item again.
My mother used a product just like this when I was growing up. I can't believe I found its eqivalent after all these years!

Since I was old enough to groom my nails, I struggled to find a cuticle remover that was gentle, but really worked. About 30 years ago a friend told my mom about Blue Cross's formula (available in large bottles in beauty supply stores). It was awesome! Gentle, yet effective. A few years ago we couldn't find it anymore & eventually ran out. Nothing I bought worked as well. I don't know if this is the same formula, but it works just as well, not only on cuticles, but even stained or discolored nails. I am amazed!

I was skeptical that this would work - it comes out of the bottle as watery as skim milk. But I poured it on each finger tip, taking care to make sure to cover the cuticles, waited a minute or two then used my cuticle pusher. I was amazed at how smoothly my cuticles pushed back and how easy they were to trim after that! My nails look as nice as if I had gone to the salon (now I know the secret!) One bottle is going to last a long time - maybe even a year, so it's a good value. No odor, no sting, no mess.
