These numbers are thick and heavy duty. We used them on a team's softball helmets a couple of months ago and they are standing the test of time. They've been wet, and cold and hot with no peeling on the edges etc. The package comes with plenty of numbers for a team and then some. There is a small window of opportunity for repositioning if you have "stuck" half the number or less on. If you have to take the whole number off, you'll be using a new number...this just speaks to the effectiveness of the adhesive.
